With her 50th birthday fast approaching, Naomi Rohrer chose to spend it by making her mark on the Chilean Temple Initiative. Inspired by a radiant youth in her community, Naomi dedicated a dinner party on her birthday to the future Mashriqu'l-Adkhar, asking that in place of gifts, each friend make a special donation to the Chilean Temple Fund.
 As lovingly requested, the friends each arrived on the evening of the dinner party with sealed envelopes, joyful in spirit and eager to contribute to the building of the Chilean Temple. Naomi had enlarged several photos of the future House of Worship and placed them around the dinner table as a source of further inspiration for her guests. The festivities also included helium filled balloons with special teaching cards placed inside each one of them, which were cheerfully given out to children in the restaurant. As guests left the restaurant they each took a balloon and released them into the air as a sign of celebration and joy for the future Mother Temple of South America.
