The Kingdom Project, the comprehensive development plan begun in 2000 to strengthen our national infrastructure, has expanded to include the national initiative to raise support for the building of the last of the continental Temples of the Bahá'í world, the Mother Temple of South America in Santiago, Chile. The Kingdom Project office is pleased to announce the theme of this new initiative as, "Build the Temple of Light: A Privilege so Priceless."

ctirevisedlogorgb-350.jpg"The Temple of Light" is a term used by the architect, Mr. Siamak Hariri, to describe his vision of the Temple's luminous effect of inner light and translucent alabaster in the nighttime landscape. "A Privilege so Priceless" is taken from Shoghi Effendi's "The Advent of Divine Justice" - a call for American believers to arise swiftly and proclaim the Faith of Bahá'u'lláh:

"The field is indeed so immense, the period so critical, the Cause so great, the workers so few, the time so short, the privilege so priceless, that no follower of the Faith of Bahá'u'lláh, worthy to bear His name, can afford a moment's hesitation."

The logo that will accompany this theme is characterized by an overhead view of the Chile Temple design, as well as a depiction of the landscape upon which this sacred structure will be built - the Andes Mountains.

Please join the Kingdom Project Office and the American community in celebrating the beginning of the project that will signal the last of the continental Temples - it truly is a priceless privilege to do so.
